Who You Talk To

Knockthomas Walk-In Tubs does not employ installers. When you reach out, your request goes to an independent provider in our network who serves your area. That provider is the person you deal with from the first conversation through the finished job.

The provider is a separate business. Their pricing, schedule and warranty terms are their own.

What the Provider May Ask

Expect a short set of practical questions. They help the provider judge the job before a visit.

• Which service interests you: a walk-in tub, a conversion or a walk-in shower?
• What is the bathroom like? Size, floor type and the current tub or shower.
• Who will use it, and what are their mobility needs?
• Is the bathroom on a main floor or in a basement?
• Is there any past leak, soft floor or mold?

Photos and rough measurements can speed things up.

Questions Worth Asking

Use the first conversation to compare providers, not only prices.

• Will you give a written quote that lists materials and scope?
• Who handles permits, if the job needs any?
• What happens if hidden damage shows up behind the old tub?
• How is the unit or wall system waterproofed?
• What does the warranty cover, and for how long?
• Can you help document damage if I plan to file a claim?

Typical U.S. costs vary widely by job. A written quote is the only number worth trusting.

You Stay in Charge

A request through Knockthomas Walk-In Tubs is not a contract. You can talk to more than one provider, ask for changes to a quote or walk away. Nobody here will pressure you.

Take your time on the decision, but not on the planning. A bathroom that is already risky does not improve while you wait.
